Daren is a multilingual vocal sample designed for use with the Myriad / Harmony Assistant virtual singer engine. It enables synthesized vocal playback directly from musical notation by combining entered lyrics with melodic information from the score.

The voicebank includes phonetic support for Spanish, English, Japanese, Italian, and Latin, using language-adapted phoneme mapping to maintain intelligible pronunciation across different linguistic contexts. Its configuration focuses on stable vowel sustain, consistent pitch response, and clear consonant articulation within the Myriad synthesis system.

Daren was recorded with a soft vocal tone and controlled dynamics, allowing it to adapt well to melodic lines, harmonies, and classical or pop-oriented arrangements. The voice responds to Harmony Assistant’s vocal parameters, enabling adjustments to pronunciation, phrasing, and expressive playback directly within the composition.
