DAREN

Daren JP features a soft and neutral male voice with a calm, refined presence. In his mid register he maintains his greatest stability and tonal balance, delivering clear and controlled performances. Within his comfortable range of C3–C4, his voice remains steady and composed, while in higher notes it becomes slightly thinner yet preserves clarity during sustained tones. This controlled behavior makes his voice especially suited for melodic and emotionally restrained performances.

Designed as a standard Japanese CVVC voicebank for OpenUtau, Daren JP prioritizes smooth consonant transitions and overall stability. Optimized for consistent articulation rather than extended phonetic variation, he performs best in slow to mid-tempo compositions. His focused Japanese phoneme set ensures reliable pronunciation within the language, making him particularly well-suited for pop, ballads, and electronic music that benefit from a serious and elegant vocal character.
